The King of Monsters

mechagodzilla.jpgWere LTR still in NYC, you could bet your bottom dollar that he would be at Godzilla Conquers the Globe: Japanese Movie Monsters in International Film Art, an exhibit at the Columbia University Library celebrating 50 years of the big feller.

Instead, he is settling for renting Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla on Netflix. A robot Godzilla? Is anything better than that?

When I was an immature little clunky robot, I used to have dreams that King Ghidorah, or “Monster Zero” was chasing me down the street. The only way to get away fast enough was to swim as I ran, you know, making the arm movements, while still running. Eventually I would start swimming in the air. I used to have these dreams every couple months. That and one about Indianna Johns that I cannot seem to remember.

Erm, Indianna Johns was my neighbor Keith Johns, only he went on adventures.

LOL! I hope you’ve conquered your Ghidorah fear.

That looks mighty fun. I’ll check it out. See the things you miss when you leave the city? But at least you have…um, heck, I have no idea. Drop me a line sometime let me know how you’re doing.
