Tiger’s announcer Rod Allen (whom I usually like, by the by), after Omar Infante hit a two-run double off Bronson Arroyo:
“Omar Infante does not miss fastballs.”
Infante, in his 1000+AB career: .251/.299/.393/.692.
Basically, they take the stupid stuff that people say or write and examine whether or not it’s true.

I tend to turn the sound off when I’m watching baseball. :) A great way to deal with annoying broadcasters that I learned from my parents. That way I can listen to music, read, and watch baseball all at the same time!

Whoa, a White Sox fan calling out a Braves broadcaster? How can you stand the “good guys” and the “yesss” and all from the Hawk? Geez, most annoying broadcaster this side of Thom Brennaman (sp?).
BTW, Chip is tolerable. But anyone would be next to Don Sutton.

You can put it on the board…yes! He gone! Those are fun for me and better to have Hawk in the broadcast booth than in the GM seat - he was terrible there. And Darrin Jackson has some pretty good things to say.
Chip Caray tolerable…just can’t wrap my head around that one.
