Our Long National Nightmare is Over

February 6th, 2006

This the time of year when I let out a big sigh and start to climb out of a season-long depression. That’s right, football season is over. Baseball season begins in under two weeks. On 9 am on 2/15, pitchers and catchers start reporting to team spring training facilities across the warm states in America. And finally, the world is right again.

    Hmph!

Well admittedly, now that football is over, I’m actually starting to look forward to baseball’s opening day as well.

Okay, the Super Bowl may have been a bit of a bore but the NFL season as a whole was pretty entertaining.

But yeah, baseball is coming. I don’t pay a whole lot of attention to spring training as far as watching games and stuff - March is for the NCAA tourney.
